Meet the Team
We are the team that put this retreat together. We all share the same hope of bringing increased compassion to the world, through our own daily practice, and through helping others be their best self. We welcome you to this retreat, and hope that you are able to connect to your beauty within as you practice mindfulness, self-exploration, and honest dialogue with us for the three-day retreat.
Paul: After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and moving to Hawaii, a passion for working with children and understanding the conditions for optimal self-development took hold. As an elementary teacher and principal, I grew aware of a void in traditional educational models for children: the ability to know oneself. A return back to my hometown of Sheridan allowed me the opportunity to co-found the small non-profit WyldFlower Learning Community.
Mary: I am a licensed clinical social worker and owner of Metta Mental Health Services, LLC. I began my personal journey in Mindfulness twelve years ago and have been invited to lead numerous Mindfulness workshops, guide retreats, and was the creator/implementer of a K-12 Mindfulness Education Program. My practice continues to be cultivating the social and emotional wellbeing of myself and others.
Khahn: I am a psychotherapist with a particular interest in meditation as a means for promoting consciousness.
Vivianne: I am Vivianne Tran, Clinical Psychologist. My clinical interests are trauma, personality, and mindfulness. My main focus is to empower others to grow and achieve their full potential.
Misti: I am Misti Bybee, and am a licensed clinical social worker. What speaks to me most is helping people recognize their inherent worth. I am member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers), and love helping people find their own reasons for creating positive change. I have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, and am excited to share some lessons about living fully that I have learned along the way.
